Biography
Nicky Kvitsinski is a dedicated family law advocate based in the Los Angeles office of Family Law Group, Inc. (“FLG”). Her decision to pursue family law was shaped in part by her own experience growing up as a child of divorce. That perspective continues to inform her approach to cases involving children, where she places their best interests at the forefront and remains mindful of the lasting impact family law proceedings can have on the parent-child relationship.
Prior to joining FLG, Nicky dedicated her practice exclusively to family law, independently managing a substantial caseload from inception through resolution and serving as lead counsel in contested proceedings and evidentiary hearings. Her experience includes dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, child support, property division, complex financial disputes, and the preparation and negotiation of prenuptial agreements. In financially complex cases, Nicky has worked with forensic accountants on issues involving business interests, executive compensation, income, and financial tracing. Her custody experience includes high-conflict disputes and working with Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) in matters involving reunification therapy.
Nicky earned her Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During law school, she received Dean’s Honors, served on the Executive Board of the Western State Law Review, and received multiple CALI Awards and a Witkin Award. Her scholarship includes a published law review article that has since been cited by other legal authors. She earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, graduating Cum Laude.
In October 2025, Nicky completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Family Law Trial Skills Program held in Chicago, IL. Early in her career, Nicky has already received 2027 recognition from Super Lawyers as a Southern California Rising Star and from Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America. She is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association’s Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division.
Outside of her practice, Nicky enjoys traveling, staying active, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is conversational in Farsi and Spanish.
