Gorsha’s legal foundation is as dynamic as his personal journey. He holds a Juris Doctor from UC Hastings and a master’s in international commercial arbitration law from Stockholm University. During law school, he earned recognition as a standout member of the UC Hastings Negotiation and Mediation team, excelling in regional and international competitions. Over a decade, Gorsha practiced international arbitration in Europe, managing high-stakes cases involving complex cross-border disputes and collaborating with global clients, local counsel, forensic accountants, and valuation specialists. These experiences, paired with his multicultural background, give him a unique perspective that informs his ability to meet each client’s needs with precision and care.
Gorsha began his family law career as an attorney for Child Support Services, where he developed a deep understanding of child support complexities and the emotional dynamics of family disputes. This foundation, combined with his expertise in high-stakes family law cases and global practice, allows him to guide families through challenging transitions with insight, precision, and compassion. Fluent in Russian, conversational in French, and learning Spanish, Gorsha’s culturally informed perspective enables him to connect with clients from across the globe, ensuring they feel supported and confident every step of the way.
Outside of work, Gorsha channels his focus and determination into restoring and racing classic sailboats. As a licensed captain, he recently brought new life to a Contessa 35 ocean racer, now competing on the San Francisco Bay—a pursuit reflecting his approach to law: strategic decision-making, teamwork, and a focus on the long game. His loyal Blue Heeler, Jack, is never far behind, sharing sailing adventures and savoring the salty breeze.
